About the Mace Pepper Spray Jogger:
The Mace brand Spray Jogger Design contains 18 grams (approx. 1/2 oz) of pepper spray, enough for 10 to twenty bursts, with a reliable distance of 8 to 12 feet. The unit includes a a flip-top security cap to prevent unexpected discharge.
It is ideal for sports and outside activities such as running, jogging or walking. You can bring it along on your keychain, attach it with the belt clip or have it in hand with the Velcro-like strap.
Effects: Upon direct contact with eyes, breathing system and mucous membranes, the active components in this pepper spray will trigger eyes to slam shut,and an extreme burning feeling to the skin. This will last roughly 45 minutes. This will allow you to get away from an attacker and call for help.

Storage: Keep your Pepper Spray in cool dry area away from heat, flame or strong light. Usage is recommended only with sufficient ventilation. Do not save it in an environment where the temperature level may go beyond 120 degrees F (50 degrees C) such as an enclosed automobile. The Pepper Spray cartridge might leak from over pressurization and fail to work appropriately. Do not save unit in a cold environment under 32 degrees F (0 degrees C). This may trigger depressurization and the loss of reliable discharge.
- Expiration: Pepper spray has a life span of 4 years from date of manufacture. Each pepper spray device is labeled with an expiration date. After this date, the pepper spray cartridge need to be thrown away in accordance with the ecological regulations in your area.
